Atrium Planting

A planted atrium space is a unique point of focus bringing sunlight and nature indoors. A place where you can relax.

From our experience of over 40 years we are able to install plant landscaping into these large open areas, Importantly we can help you choose the correct plants for the environment they are to be placed in.

We first placed plants within an Atrium area in 1982. This was client lead as they wanted to fill an Atrium space with trees “we want a jungle” . This space was ideal for planting as it also incorporated a café area which within the Atrium gave it an outside feel.

We can work with the clients directly, with architects or developers to produce the right end result.

Time should be taken choosing the right plants not only for the light conditions present but how they look together, design is very important and creating an outside feel inside really does reap benefits when done right.

Our process does involves selecting and sourcing the right plants, making sure they are hardened off, working out the logistics of how we are going to get large heavy trees into the building and at what stage the installation should take place. This also includes a full on-going maintenance plan.

Maintenance of large trees is important , therefore if your planting scheme is not looking its best why not call us to give you a plant report.

Some clients have shown a preference to have a replica or preserved tree we therefore also offer a fully range of trees up to 10metre.
